Requirements to become a Driving Instructor

No previous experience or qualifications are required

The DSA (Driving Standards Agency) require that anyone wishing to train as a Driving Instructor has no more than 6 penalty points on their licence. You must have held a valid full UK licence for at least 3.5 years.
